Every offsite works. That is the problem
The room is honest. Something real gets named. People leave changed, and they mean it.
Then Monday arrives with its own agenda. By the end of the quarter the team is running the pattern it ran before, with better language for it. Six months on, somebody refers to the session as the day we all cried, and everybody laughs, and nothing on the P&L is different.
Nobody failed. A day changes what a team knows. It does not change what a team does at 4pm on a Thursday when the numbers are short and somebody has to say the unpopular thing.
That is not a knowledge problem. Knowledge takes a day. Behaviour takes a year.
What twelve months does that a day cannot
Behaviour holds when three things are true at once. It has been rehearsed, it has something written to refer back to, and it gets re-measured by someone who will say so if it did not move.
Take any one of the three away and it decays. Most leadership development gives you the first for a day, none of the second, and never the third, which is why the industry can sell the same day to the same team three years running.
Rehearsed
Twelve monthly sessions, not one event. The team practises the behaviour in the month it is needed, in front of the people it is needed in front of. Repetition is not the boring part of change. It is the whole of it.
Written
The Guiding North Star Leadership Playbook is built for your team from your data, and it is the thing a leader opens when a decision turns political and nobody wants to be the one who says it. A team without a written reference argues from memory, and memory takes the side of whoever is most senior in the room.
Re-measured
The same instrument at the open, the midpoint and the close. This is the part almost nobody offers, and the reason is simple. If the number does not move, the report says so. That is a risk to us and a protection for you.
Twenty minutes. I will tell you if a day is enough.
“A team does not drift because it forgot the strategy. It drifts because nobody rehearsed what to do when the strategy got expensive.”
The year, in order
Nothing here is a surprise on the day. The sequence is the method.
Before
Measurement Every leader completes the Blind$pot Team Assessment privately, about twenty minutes. The key leader completes the individual assessment as well. Nobody is named, then or ever. The aggregate is the only thing discussed.
Month 1
The Deep Dive Two hours reading what the data actually says, with the key leader. Not a results presentation. The conversation about which of these findings you already suspected, and which one you did not.
Month 2
Discovery onsite A day and a half inside the business. The survey and the interviews run alongside it, because what the leadership team believes about the layer beneath it is usually the largest single gap in the data.
Month 3
The Playbook Your Guiding North Star Leadership Playbook, written from your findings rather than assembled from a template, delivered with a 90 minute debrief. This is the reference document for the remaining nine months.
Months 3–12
The rhythm Monthly group training. Monthly accountability. The private community between sessions. This is the least glamorous part of the engagement and the part that produces the result.
Month 6
Midpoint Pulse The same measurement, re-run. Half a year is early enough to correct and late enough to be honest about what has not moved.
Month 12
The close Final measurement and a movement report against the opening baseline. What shifted, what did not, and which of it will hold without us.
Three tiers
Same twelve months, same measurement spine, same Playbook. What changes is how much of the business gets examined, and how many of your leaders get worked with individually rather than as a group.
Tier One
$75,000
12 MONTHS · UP TO 6 LEADERS · MEASUREMENT INCLUDED
AT LIST VALUE $15,100
The lowest cost route to a leadership
team that has actually been measured. One onsite, the full Playbook, and
twelve months of rhythm behind it.
What is included:
60 minute onboarding call with the key leader
Blind$pot Team Assessment for six leaders, run before anything else
Individual Blind$pot Assessment for the key leader
The Blind$pot Deep Dive, a two hour analysis of what the data actually says
One 1.5 day Discovery onsite
Survey questionnaire to up to twelve people inside the business
A customised Guiding North Star Leadership Playbook, with a 90 minute debrief
Monthly 60 minute group training calls, twelve across the year
Access to the training library, tools and resources
A private support community, with monthly accountability inside it
ABC and PERMA diagnostic
Blind$pot Pulse at months six and twelve, for all six leaders
A twelve month movement report against the opening baseline
Unlimited email support
What it gives you:
Six leaders working from one Playbook, so the executive team stops running six versions of the strategy.
A written north star you can point at when a decision turns political.
Twelve months of rhythm, which is what makes behaviour hold after the workshop feeling wears off.
The lowest cost route to a leadership team that has actually been measured.
Where most engagements sit
Tier Two
$125,000
EVERYTHING IN TIER ONE PLUS THE FOLLOWIG · MEASUREMENT INCLUDED
AT LIST VALUE$25,000
The difference is depth of evidence and private time with the key leader. Two onsites instead of one, thirty voices instead of twelve, and a closing assessment rather than a pulse.
Added at this tier
Two 1.5 day Discovery onsites, in place of one
Survey to up to twenty people, plus virtual interviews with up to ten
The Ladder of Inference installed as a working tool, not a slide
Monthly 30 minute private session with the key leader
Monthly 30 minute group accountability call
Blind$pot Pulse quarterly, three times, for all six leaders
A closing full Team Assessment for six leaders at month twelve
Delta report, plus a 90 minute board readout
What it gives you:
Your key leader gets a private hour every month, which is where the things they will not say in a group get said.
Two onsites instead of one, so mid year drift gets caught rather than discovered in December.
The Ladder of Inference goes into the meeting rhythm, and meetings are where most of the wasted cost sits.
A closing re-assessment rather than a pulse, so the year ends with proof instead of sentiment.
Tier Three
$225,000
EVERYTHING IN TIER TWO, PLUS THE FOLLOWING · MEASUREMENT INCLUDED
AT LIST VALUE $37,500
Every leader measured individually, coached individually and held to account weekly rather than quarterly. This is the tier for a team going through something that cannot be allowed to fail.
A sale, a succession, a merger, a market that has turned.
Added at this tier
Four 1.5 day Discovery and domain onsites, in place of two
Survey to up to thirty people, plus virtual and in person interviews with up to eighteen
Individual Blind$pot Assessment for all six leaders, not only the key leader
The Silence Ledger, taught and measured across the team
VIA character strengths profile for all six leaders
Monthly 30 minute private session with each of the six leaders
Monthly 15 minute session with an accountability coach, for each of the six
Quarterly 90 minute executive roundtable
Benchmark comparison inside the closing report
What it gives you:
All six leaders coached individually, so you stop carrying the ones who did not get it.
An accountability coach on every leader, monthly. The cheapest hour in the tier and the highest returning.
The quarterly roundtable gives your leaders peers, and peers hold a standard better than a boss does.
Benchmark comparison at the close, so you learn whether you are good or only better than you were.
The Silence Ledger and full strengths work, which separates a team that agrees from a team that can hold a real disagreement without splitting.
Travel is billed at cost. Nothing else is added later.
The Arithmetic, done honestly
I will not tell you this pays for itself, because I do not know your numbers and neither does anybody else selling you a year of work.
What I will tell you is where to look.
Take the fully loaded cost of your six leaders for one year.
Now estimate what fraction of that year gets spent on decisions that are made, quietly unmade, and made again.
Add the cost of replacing the last senior person who left for a reason that was not the reason they gave.
Add whatever you would put on the initiative that stalled last year and nobody has formally killed.
Most executive teams that run that calculation honestly arrive at a number between three and ten times the Tier Two fee. Some arrive lower. If yours is lower, take the Accelerator instead and keep your money.
This engagement gets measured against that number. Not against a day rate, and not against what a bigger firm would have charged you for the same twelve months.
Who this is not for
Four situations where I would tell you not to buy it. Two of them have cost me work, and I would say them again.
The chief executive will not be in the room. Every engagement that has ever failed in this category failed here. If the leader who sets the standard is sending the team to be fixed, the team learns exactly what the standard is.
You need the result inside a quarter. Twelve months is not a packaging decision. Take the Accelerator, get the written commitments, and come back when you have the runway.
Nobody is willing to be measured. The whole method rests on people answering honestly about their own behaviour. If the culture cannot survive that question, the honest first step is a much smaller one.
You want a workshop. There are excellent facilitators who will give you a memorable two days for a fraction of this. If a memorable two days is what the business needs, that is a better use of your money and I will say so on the call.
Why would I spend $75,000 when the full day is $35,000?
You would not, if a day is what the business needs. The Accelerator is the right answer for a team that is broadly working and needs to be shown one thing clearly. Total Transformation exists for the team where the pattern has been in place long enough to have been built into how the business runs, which is a rebuilding job rather than a revealing one.
Can we start smaller and see?
Yes, and most do. The Intensive at $15,000 or the Accelerator at $35,000 both open with the same measurement instrument, which means you find out what the data says about your team before committing to a year. That is the cheapest possible way to answer the question.
Questions
What if our leadership team is larger than six?
The assessment extends at $1,200 per additional leader and the group sessions carry more people without redesign. The private sessions in Tiers Two and Three are the constraint, and we would scope that on the call rather than guess at it here.
What happens if a leader leaves partway through?
It happens, and often it is the engagement working rather than failing. Their replacement completes the assessment on joining and receives their own read. The baseline stays intact because the team is measured as a team, not as six individual scores averaged together.
Who sees the individual results?
Each leader sees their own. Nobody else does, including the chief executive, including me in any named form after the read is written. The aggregate is what gets discussed in every room. That condition is not a courtesy, it is the reason the data is worth having.
What are the travel costs?
Billed at cost, with the itinerary agreed before it is booked. One onsite in Tier One, two in Tier Two, four in Tier Three.
